Sulevin means “Purpose”. Her mother named her this way after her husband was taken away by Templars when he asked for help for her delivery. Growing up without a father, she found that paternal love with her uncle instead. He taught her the ways of knives and daggers. How to hunt animals quickly so they don’t suffer. She became Inquisitor at 21, still very young and ignorant about the world outside of the clan. Her curiosity and interest for everything, books, old scrolls and forgotten knowledge made her closer to Dorian and Solas. The latter eventually fell in love, even if she felt something was “off” about him. When she learned the truth, Sulevin forgave him. She actually wants to find a way to redeem him, but she’s ready to do whatever that means. Meanwhile she’s part Red Jenny with her best friend Sera, part Inquisitor. Sully tries to infiltrate other organisation with her own spies. (Not sure yet, but she might have a son called Oliver with Solas, he’s unaware of it until Trespasser.) She’s the cousin of Callathian Gamordan Lavellan Pentaghast.

Sennarel Lavellan	Ex-boyfriend	Deceased (9:42)	Sennarel was Sulevin’s boyfriend. She had multiple “adventures” — more like, one night stands — with other Lavellan members in the past. But they had been dating since they got their Vallaslins in 9:38.
He died with the rest of the Lavellan Clan in 9:42, when Sulevin tried to assist them, it was too late.
Sera	Crush (mutual)	Alive	When they met, they had a mutual crush quite quickly, but both decided not to act on it. Mainly because Sulevin was “too elfy”, following her Dalish ancestry and believing in these Gods. But they remained close friends, best friends even.
Solas/Fen’harel	Boyfriend ?	Unknown	Sulevin was curious and hungry for knowledge. Bonding with Solas had been easy, as he was always glad to teach and answer her many questions. She learnt how to read with him, Varric and Dorian. Making her ask even more questions, get more books to read and continue this cycle repeatedly. After different flirt attempts from both parties, he kissed her, and she kissed him back. She confided her deepest fears and hopes, discussed entire nights as he was painting… Sulevin even learnt a couple drawing techniques, although being quite mediocre for a while. She never gave up, and that’s what he liked about her.
He liked to join her in their dreams, enjoy walks in ancient alleys, discover the past of every locations they travelled to. Everybody knew what was going on between them. Some were shocked, mainly by their status or age difference, but it never bothered them.
He tried to resist it, but they made out a couple times in Skyhold. In her bedroom, most of the time, but sometimes in the secret underground library or the rotunda couch when everyone was asleep but them (or so they thought).
Sulevin knew Solas was Fen’harel for a while now, with all his knowledge about the Fade, Arlathan and his goddamn necklace. She was only waiting for him to trust her enough to share this. When he asked her to come along in Crestwood, she thought this was the revelation he would do.
She had just lost her entire clan and family a couple of days ago, and felt ill from depression (and unknowingly, expecting a child) when he revealed the true nature of Vallaslins. Sully decided to keep them, to honour and remember her lost ones, no matter their past meaning, and he broke up with her, leaving her in this cold, rainy place.
She thought it was her fault, at first. But this guilt and sadness turned into rage and violence in a couple of minutes.
Hatred for her own naivety. He was Fen’harel, of course he would trick her.
Sera	Girlfriend	Alive	After Trespasser events and the confirmation Sulevin was right about Fen’harel and the other Elven Gods, she decided to stop them — all of them. With nothing separating Sera and Sulevin now, they got even closer and eventually got together. Sera was a not-so-surprisingly amazing mother to Oliver, and the two of them were the most roguish couple you could have met. Sulevin remained the “Inquisitor” to many, but she was Sera’s Inky and Ollie’s mom first.
Her actions as new Red Jenny helped the Inquisition, and the Inquisition helped the Red Jenny. It was a match made in heaven.

She did her best to teach her the Dalish ways and things Elgarhel knew as the First to the Keeper and son of Deshanna. Adaren would have loved Sulevin to pursue archery like herself, but her daughter chose to follow Thevardis’ steps.

Found in 9:44	Sulevin grew up without her father, who was sent to a Circle of Magi in the south of Orlaïs soon after her birth. She only knew his heritage: what he was like, anecdotes and how important he was to the Clan before his departure.
Thanks to the Inquisition having troubles in 9:44 in Orlaïs, Elgarhel heard about her and tried to contact his daughter after over two decades apart.
They eventually met in his Circle Tower and got permission to meet her from time to time. He also met Olivier, his grandson, and sadly learnt the fate of the rest of their Clan.
Thevardis Lavellan	Uncle	Deceased (9:42)	Thevardis was the closest person to a father for Sulevin when she grew up. He always took great care of her, teaching her the art of the blades, how to sneak in the forest, prepare traps for animals and wait for their preys. He taught her everything she knows about daggers and discreetness.
He died with the rest of the Lavellan Clan in 9:42, when Sulevin tried to assist them, it was too late.
Callathian Lavellan	Cousin	Unknown ?	Sulevin barely met her cousin as a toddler, before he left the clan and wandered in Ferelden and Orlaïs. She — and the remaining of the Clan — has no idea of his whereabouts ever since.
Deshanna Istimaethoriel	Grand-mother	Deceased (9:42)	Deshanna was close to Sulevin, always excusing her childish misdeeds and teenager rebellions. She loved to talk about Elgarhel to her. While Adaren avoided it, most of the time.
Deshanna thought Sulevin would likely become a mage like her father, and trained her as a possible candidate First to the Keeper, but Sulevin never manifested magic.

Dill Lavellan	Hunter friend	Deceased (9:42)	Dill grew up with Sulevin, being two years older than her. He was fun to be around, but once he got into “hunting mode”, nothing could take his focus away.

Feyvin Lavellan	Cook of the clan	Deceased (9:42)	Feyvin was an old friend of Deshanna. She was the cook of the clan, preparing the best food out of nothing and making sure to equally distribute food amongst everyone.
