Gangrel was born in Plegia slums, knowing nothing but pain and his mind aching for justice. Though, he was forced to become a thief in order to survive. This hateful, cruel world made him dream about changes he would do. Growing up, he used this same hate as a weapon. After King Victor of Ylisse waged war upon Plegia, he managed to reunite people to his cause, spreaching how awful the Ylissean are and his will to take over the continent and unite it as one. His voice soon reached the whole country, making him climb the social ladder to finally reach the top as the Mad King.
The members of the Grimleal helped him in his ascension in order to gain some power out of his new position. Valldar sent his protégée Aversa as a right hand woman, as well as a tactician for his moves.
As she was raised and brainwashed by Valldar, she could control the whole country, it’s army, its political bonds, its people and everything else as her “father” wished. Giving Gangrel the illusion of power he wished all these years.
After being deceived by her and almost killed, he left no sign of life for more than two years, went back to his hometown and enrolled himself in a group of bandits.
The man who could have become a hero, but lost his way to hatred, misery and blood. Slowly corrupted by his will of power, the ambitions to make his beloved country rise above the others.
