Deirdre grew up in Denerim alienage, taken to the tower once her power appeared. She’s 29 at the start of DA:O, which means she’s spent almost two decades living in the Circle Tower. She actually had a daughter with a mage called Iris, but she sadly died when the tower succumbed to Abominations. Her body is covered in burns she got while trying to save the other children. Zévran and her immediately have an affair, which turns out to be more than that. They end up marrying each other, but stay an “open couple”. The fire incident made her sterile so they never had children, not that they wanted any. Together, they travel to Antiva and other regions where his rogue skills and her usage of blood magic helped countless innocent lives, unintendedly.
